By accessing or using the Sites, you ("User") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") without modification. If you do not agree, you may not use the Sites. Violations may result in account termination or legal action.

FlightBridgeED provides e-commerce, advanced certification test preparation, continuing education (CE) courses, free open-access medical education (FOAMed), podcasts, blogs, and other services related to EMS, critical care and other pre-hospital industry professions. Always consult state-specific CE guidelines for licensure requirements.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use is subject to our Privacy Policy, detailing data collection, retention, and security. We comply with GDPR (EU users), CCPA (California users), and other applicable laws. No protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA is collected or used; all patient data is anonymized. You may access, correct, or delete your data by contacting [email protected].

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your account. Accounts are non-transferable and limited to one user per license. Notify us of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, including abusive behavior or unauthorized sharing.

Use by Minors

You must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 require parental/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13; such data will be deleted upon discovery.

Electronic Communications

Using the Sites, emailing, or chatting constitutes electronic communication. You consent to electronic notices, satisfying legal requirements. Abusive, obscene, or threatening language may result in account termination without refund.

Course Licenses

Purchasing a course grants a non-transferable, time-limited, revocable license to access materials on our Sites or EmergeLMS™. Courses may have completion deadlines, specified at purchase. Sharing access is prohibited. Violations (e.g., plagiarism, circumvention, abusive behavior) may result in license revocation, account bans, or legal action. FlightBridgeED is not liable for certification exam results or professional performance.

Subscriptions and Billing

Subscriptions may auto-renew. Cancel via account settings or [email protected]. Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Report billing disputes within 30 days.

In-Person Events

For in-person courses (excluding the FAST Symposium, governed separately), cancel up to 30 days before for a full refund, minus a $50 fee. No refunds after this period. Reschedule 7+ days before, subject to availability. Attendees must follow venue rules, health/safety protocols (e.g., masks), and professional conduct standards. Contact [email protected] or (800) 991-3160.

Podcasts and Shows

Our podcasts and shows are for educational purposes, not medical advice. No PHI is used; patient care records are anonymized to comply with HIPAA. FlightBridgeED owns all podcast content, including guest contributions (subject to agreements). Users submitting content (e.g., stories, comments) grant a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use it. Submissions must not include PHI or defamatory material. Podcasts may include ads or sponsorships; we are not liable for third-party claims. Content may be hosted on third-party platforms (e.g., Spotify), subject to their terms.

No Medical Direction or Oversight

Use of FlightBridgeED’s products and services, including podcasts, blogs, courses, FOAMed, or other offerings, does not constitute a legal medical direction or oversight relationship. All content is for educational purposes only. Users must consult their local protocols, guidelines, and medical direction standing orders before applying any knowledge gained. You are solely responsible for ensuring your actions align with your scope of practice and applicable regulations. By using our products or services, you expressly agree to hold FlightBridgeED harmless from any legal ramifications arising from violations of this policy. It is your exclusive responsibility to represent your scope of practice and comply with medical direction protocols when providing patient care.

FOAMed Content

FOAMed is provided under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 License. Share for non-commercial purposes with attribution. Commercial use or modification requires permission.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Sites may link to third-party websites ("Linked Sites") or services (e.g., LMS, podcast platforms). We are not responsible for their content. Links do not imply endorsement. Data may be shared with Approved Third-Parties to deliver services. Users are subject to third-party platform terms. Review financial service rights at federalreserve.gov.

Intellectual Property

Communication Services

Forums, chats, or podcast comment sections ("Communication Services") require lawful, professional content. Prohibited actions include defamation, harassment, or uploading protected materials. We may remove content or terminate access.

User Submissions

Submitting content (e.g., feedback, podcast stories) grants FlightBridgeED a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use it. You warrant ownership and no PHI inclusion. We are not obligated to use or compensate.
